Time with CASA:  I began as a contract organizer and grant writing consultant in November of 2010 and helped to organize Saunders Creek Homeowners Cooperative.  I was hired permanently 6 months later in July of 2011.

Completed CASA Projects:  Began organizing work on Saunders Creek Homeowners Cooperative (ROC  #3) and am now working on Dexter Oaks Cooperative (ROC  #9).

Upcoming projects:  Umpqua Ranch Cooperative and Dexter Oaks Cooperative and I have just finished the Harvard Kennedy School Course Leadership, Organizing, and Action : Leading Change to help me in my work with CASA of Oregon.

Hobbies:  Hiking, biking, watching and tracking wildlife (especially whales and birds)

Last job held (prior to CASA):  Portland Policy Coordinator, Oregon Opportunity Network

What did you want to be when you grew up? A marine biologist

Hidden/special talent:  I am a trained whale-watch naturalist and birder.

If you had a time machine, what year would you go back to and why?  I would only go back to 1993. Let us just say it was a good year.

Favorite bumper sticker: Visualize whirled peas

If you could go on a road trip with anyone (dead or alive), who would you go with and where would you go?  I would go the USA Tour with my favorite surf punk band and travel from city to city listening to them. I love their music and would enjoy surfing with them.
