Time on Board: Joined the CASA board in March of 2014

Reason you joined the board: I am interested in furthering the goal of improving the lives of farmworkers, especially in providing decent, safe and affordable housing.

Describe your current/most recent job: I am a loan officer for Morgan Stanley making direct loans to Certified Development Financial Institutions and alsounderwrite their participations in construction lending with other regulated banks to non-profit developers of affordable housing across the country.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley I worked for almost 4 years at Enterprise Community Investments during the economic downturn as the manager of their national REO portfolio.  Prior to the downturn, I worked for 2-1/2 years in a community development lending role at Bank of America,rebuilding local client relationships with nonprofit developers; preceding that, I worked for 9 years at PNCMulti-Family Capital as a senior asset manager overseeing special assets and dispositions.

Specific set of skills you bring to the board: I am a highly experienced relationship manager with deep experience in affordable housing and multi-family real estate.  My key strengths include a proven ability to develop client and partner rapport as well as being adept at thinking through and solving complex real estate issues.  I am skilled in financial analysis and navigating an ever changing regulatory landscape.

Education: I hold a B.S. in Business Administration – Finance from San Diego State University
