CASA Staff Profile

Eddie Sepeda
Real Estate and Cooperative Development Assistant

Eddie originally hails from Texas, but has called Oregon home for most of his life. His interest in nonprofits started as a volunteer for the Farmworker Housing Development Corporation (FHDC) in Woodburn, and prior to that, he undertook a career in heavy industry working as an Assistant Lead at Wolf Steel Foundry in Hubbard.

With a passion for math and helping those around him advance, Eddie pursued an Associate’s Degree from Chemeketa Community College and graduated in 2015. Driven and goal-oriented, he simultaneously owned and operated his own contracting business, EZ General Contracting.

Coming from a farmworker family, Eddie relates to the communities that CASA partners with and serves through our programs. Examples of tireless service set by his family shaped who Eddie is today. Growing up, he watched his father help people newly arrived from Mexico to find work and housing. He also has been inspired by the advocacy work of his wife, who serves the communities of Evolve Property Management and FHDC. He is excited to be part of the Real Estate and Cooperative Development team as they create more habitable and safe environments for communities across Oregon.

Outside of work, Eddie can be found spending time with family, volunteering in the community, and teaching his pomeranian-dachshund mix, Brie, new tricks.
