Adelante Mujeres is a non-profit organization based in Forest Grove that provides education and small business development support services to low-income Latino families throughout Washington County. Adelante offers these services through three main programs: Adelante Empresas, a comprehensive small business development project that provides training, support and networking for low-income Latino entrepreneurs, an Adult Education Program which offers classes for low-income Latina women, readying them to obtain their GEDs, improve their English skills, and enhance their self-esteem and leadership capacities and, finally, the Forest Grove Farmers Market which is managed by Adelante Mujeres as part of the Micro Enterprise Program which focuses on small scale sustainable farming.
