CASA of Oregon is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, or age in employment or in participation of any program or activity offered or operated by our organization. As a recipient of federal financial assistance, CASA of Oregon adheres to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Title VI Notice

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. If you believe you have been subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin by CASA of Oregon, you may file a Title VI complaint with the following agency:

Section 504 Notice

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. If you believe you have been subjected to discrimination on the basis of disability by CASA of Oregon, you may file a Section 504 complaint with the following agencies:

How to File a Complaint

If you believe you have been discriminated against under Title VI or Section 504, in connection with a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Fund program, including all programs administered by CASA of Oregon, you may file a complaint with the appropriate federal agencies listed above. Complaints should be submitted in writing and include the following information:

  • Your name, address, and contact information.
  • A detailed description of the alleged discrimination, including dates, times, and locations.
  • Any supporting documentation or evidence.
